Water Quality

Water is most abundant and important natural resource used by man. Water quality is the most important aspect in any industry. For example, in processed food industry, water is used for purposes like processing, washing, flushing and general usage, for boiler feed and cooling. In aquaculture, quality of water must be maintained to reduce infections or diseases caused by bacteria, viruses etc. and also to decrease mortality rate. These industries have to examine the water quality on a daily basis. The water quality requirement varies from industry to industry.

BCL laboratory is well equipped with instrumentation and qualified personnels to perform water analysis. We undertake all analysis in accordance with BIS/ISO norms. We also advice aquaculture farmers, medicinal plant cultivators, horticulturists, agriculturists and exporters in water quality management.

  2. Marine water: Physical, chemical, heavy metals and phytoplankton, zooplankton biomass chlorophyll A and B.
  3. Effulent and sewage water: pH, TSS, TDS, TS, oil and grease, COD, BOD and heavy metals.
